on Friday the day before the holidays I went home and played with my BEST friend Hemi and we biked to Sylvia park mall it was fun cause we were tired, then we had burger king so we played Basketball 1 on 1 and I kept winning on im.
After we had 10 dollars each and he brought earrings from the warehouse and I brought lollies and Chocolate  we then biked back and we had a massive sleepover at my house, we ere watching a movie with popcorn.

this weekend after the performance I went to Zions house and we were riding motorbikes and Hemi crashed the motorbike and he went up the tree and fell off and Savannah only cared about the bike but didn't care abut Hemi.

Te Kotuku 2019!

On Saturday we performed at Te Kotuku 2019! We have been working hard all year for this performance and we blew the stage away with our awesomeness! But before it all happened we got a puuhoro but it was just the taane who got it. We broke the stage but at the end st kentigerns won it. When it was announced we did the school haka. But I am Just glad that Matua said it was the best top drop he has seen from us so he gave us an 11 out of 10. Everyone was so proud of us, it was really an amazing day!

On Saturday 6 to 7 pm, my dad and I went to a trampoline park in avondale we were the only ones there and my dad got stuck in the foam pit for about 10 minutes because he had a broken finger after we went to the basketball tramp and he could dunk not long after we ate ice cream on the trampoline park.

Armegeddon

On saturday Labour weekend me and my friend Milan went to Armageddon,
I dressed as Marty Mcfly from Back to the future and he dressed as hulk.
We saw Jason Isaacs from Harry Potter we brought two butterfly knives
and I bought a fake gun.
after we had doughnuts and food and I jumped off a 12 metre crain into a big air bag and Milan was to scared so I pushed him off then we dropped him off and went home to watch the Rugby game.
on monday me and dad went to a outdoor public bmx park and I was so scared to go on a mega ramp and dad said he could to it and he ended up breaking his finger I ran up to him and he could barely drive so we went home and I played With Hemi.

Today in Te Puna Wairua we had Pricewaterhousecoopers (PWC) and they taught us how to save money. I learnt the difference between wants and needs, Want is when you see something you like and you think you need it but you really don't, Need is when you see something you need not want.We had to act out a situation when My friend lended me some shoes and I told her a Donkey ate it and I think it was pretty funny, Nga Mihi pwc for teaching us how to save money and who to trust.

Now I am just happy it is done.

Harlem Globetrotters game

We sat down in the trusts arena and we had a magic pass so we came early and I met a few of the globetrotters and they signed my Basketball.  on the side were the hoops are, The Washington generals were there and there was his massive line for a 1v1 with the Washington Generals. When it came to thalftime me mum and dad went to the accessory shop and I got a harlem globetrotter official Jersey from my dad.  Also at half time there was this basketball team and they were called the junior breakers. at 3rd quarter the globetrotter manager chose people for the V.I.P seats and to play with the globetrotters.
When it came to full time I got dragon from the globetrotters to sign my Jersey and my ball. I got a photo with The mascot (Globie)  and he is so funny.

Term 1 reflection

If I had a scissors that can tear the world apart...

If I had a scissors that can tear the world apart

I think it would look like Giant and enormous
 bugs like man eating spiders and ants that are bigger
than us and the whole world would be the same but little
becomes big and big becomes little. We would be surviving
the wild and know how it feels to be a bug hiding from the
predators.

We would be living in trees the ground and makeshift huts
if you are lucky. The would is a big place now and in this
world it is much much bigger than we can ever imagine.
The bugs would be our predators and it was all because
a kid wanted to find out what a world eating scissors would
do.

Kapa Haka at school

Every Tuesdays and Thursdays in the middle block the Kapa haka group goes down to the hall and practice Kapa haka. our tutors Matua Andre and Kooka (Chanel) teaches us Kapa haka. Last year we came home with a new patu from the te kotuku Kapa haka competition and we celebrated with taking a Maori necklace home and joined with a feast.
This year the same tutors came back to teach some more items and to win more competitions.

Basketball on Tuesdays

On Tuesdays 4pm-6pm I go to the Panmure Y.M.C.A to play some basketball. we get in to groups from Jrs, Intermediate and Seniors.
 we practice our shooting,dribbling and passing
 then at 5:00pm we play games sometimes against each other and sometimes against the seniors.
I think our coach looks like KD (Kevin Durant) he is a awesome basketball player he can move like KD the only difference to me is that KD is 7ft tall.

Having lunch at Mission bay

Last Saturday me and mum went to Mission bay to meet up with my cousins we played baseball then we played on the park with my little 2 year old cousin and she got pushed over by a boy running around naked. I met a kid named Nate and he was brazilian we played some baseball with his dad until he went home I got a toy from my auntie and I got a rocket that whistles and goes up to 75 feet! we gave her some clothes and a easter egg  for her presents.

The Kia Manawanui syndicate goes to Technology every Thursday
 at Tamaki college this is where I do cooking our cooking teacher is Mrs Tuipulotu she helps us and tells us how to cook. to me I think she is a good teacher because if you mess up she helps you to make it better. Every term we switch to a different class like graphics and hard material because the term is almost finished I am sad to leave mrs tuipulotu because I like cooking

The Journey To...Egypt!

¨Ben wake up¨Mom called. ¨ I don't wanna go to school ma¨ Its the
school holidays silly breakfast is ready so come down any time you
want darling.

Ben came down and had breakfast. ¨ Katie is going to come over
sometime today¨ I like your girlfriend she is nice. Katie came over
around noon and showed Ben about China and the agent stories about it.

So when Dad got home Ben showed him about China and his dad said
a straight up no ¨why¨said Ben¨your just a teenager. Out of nowhere
Ben actually convinced Dad to go to China. So they got the passport
and went to the airport and they were the only one onboard.
They took the right path until they crashed and washed up on egypt.
They did not know were they were until they saw the sand surrounding
them and the heat. ¨This is definitely not China¨ Ben said. They saw a
tunnel that leads under ground. Ben look let's take this route maybe we
can find some help¨...come on then. When they went in the tunnel about
two hours later Ben said¨ come on Dad we have been walking for hours.
Then they saw a little bit of light and they ran towards it but the tunnel
started to shake¨ let's get out of here ¨ben said. They ran as like they
were running for their lives because they were! They just made it out and
a split second after the whole tunnel collapsed. And they were alive to tell
the story life is like a box of chocolate because you never know what
you are going to get. They went back home for Ben's birthday and katie
told Ben more about china and Ben said¨ well one thing is for sure
I am not going back to China.    The end.

technology week 9

Today at technology we made sweet and sour pork.

me and mason were buddies for this task. the rice we did not make mrs Tuipulotu made it.

Today we summarized a book about The first Europeans that Explored New Zealand

Summarize

The first european explorers named a place murders bay but now it is called
golden bay.

Novo zeelandia was New zealand's first name but today we know it as  New
Zealand.

Another early european de surville came to New Zealand the same time as
cook did at cape reinga they both battled and they both got killed by Maori.

kia manawanui sleep over

The day started off good, the Kia Manawanui syndicate went to Tamaki
college for technology we did some cooking we made some vege soup.

First we got some vegetables and cut them into little pieces.  we had to pour
2 cups of water into the pot then we put the potato carrots and onion into
the pot. when it is all bubbled up you put some red meat into the pot with
all the other veges into the pot. after we had to clean up and eat our
masterpiece. We went on the bus straight to the Panmure pools. The
driver asked me for directions because I was at the front seat. He took a
wrong turn but soon he was back on track. When we arrived he almost got
trapped in the parking lot because it was so small. When we got inside there
was not much people because it was a school day. My dad was a parent
helper for the pools. We did some team building activities in the pools.

We were holding on to noodles and racing and on that race our group won.
We had some free time after then we got changed and went on the bus back
to school. We did some more team building activities and I helped David set
up his tent so I bunked in with him and Faka´ata. then we had a dance
competition I won for my Michael Jackson dance and Paula won for his
island dancing. We had some dinner and desert and we roasted some
marshmallows. We watched a movie\Megamind Then went to sleep. In the
morning I got in my uniform and had breakfast I saw Mrs Komor\Room 9
teacher 2018. Mrs Komor played games and challenges with us like tug of
war after that we had morning tea then we played again tug of war after we
had lunch then assembly. Then we all went Home.

Opinions: I really wanted to go on the diving boards
and the slide. I think it was really fun doing cooking,pools
and sleeping overnight.

Best part was when we went to bed.

Afterall it was a fun week  it was tiring.
